A blog where women are inspired and encouraged to grow in their relationship with Christ.

About Mary

Hi!  I'm Mary, and I'm so glad you've stopped by!  Like you, I've had a life chocked full of both blessings and challenges.

I've been married for 30 years to my best friend, John. We have a son, sweet daughter-in-law, and an adorable granddaughter who live in Colorado, and a son who has recently graduated from college and landed a job in Colorado.

This picture is of me {with puffy eyes from crying} saying goodbye to our precious granddaughter. {Isn't she beautiful?!}  We live in Pennsylvania, and she was getting ready to fly back to Colorado. :(

My life's purpose is to honor and glorify Jesus Christ. I marvel at the depths of His grace and mercy. He has carried me through some very difficult times and has taught me to "praise Him in the midst". Without Him, I am helpless, but with Him, I am empowered to rise above my circumstances and run with joy and peace!

I'm blown away by the strengthening and healing power of God's grace!

I've been privileged to serve and mentor women for 28 years, and have served as a counselor with a Christian counseling ministry for 13 years. I've led Bible studies, spoken at retreats, and held leadership roles in my church. I've worked with women in all stages and walks of life. And as a Certified Life Coach, I absolutely love to see how God can take the ordinary life and make it extraordinary!

Love and blessings,
    Mary

  3. Dear Mary
You have been on my mind so much the last few weeks! I haven't seen any blog posts from you in ages and I was wondering if you are okay. Have you decided to stop blogging? How is the Fibro? I hope you are doing well.

    1. Oh Mia, thank you so much for thinking about me! Physically, I've been going through a pretty rough time so I've taken a temporary sabbatical from blogging. Hopefully I'll be back after the first of the year. I hope you're doing well. And I hope you have an especially joy-filled season with our precious Savior.
      Much love ~ Mary
