Special Women in Your Life

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about the women in my life:  My mom, sisters, daughter-in-law,  nieces  and girlfriends.

Each is incredibly special and has a unique and important story. Each has experienced joy and heartache.

Some have had the joy, excitement and challenges of marriage, growing families, or fulfilling careers. And some have had the heartache, disappointment, and despair of losing a job, poor health, or losing a loved one.

I'm so thankful that our God has called us to be there for one another...To laugh and to cry, to encourage and to comfort, to hear and to hug.

Do you have special women in your life?  If you're like me, you don't always take the time to tell them how much they mean to you. It only takes a minute to email, text, or make a quick phone call!   A few quick words of appreciation can be so encouraging!
"And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command
but one we have had from the beginning.  I ask that we love one another."
"Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble."

I’d love to hear about the women who have touched your life in a special way!
Please leave a comment!

  8. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am now following yours. :)

I like how you put it, "I'm so thankful that our God has called us to be there for one another..." I never thought of it like that. That it is something God has called us to be. My sisters are my closest friends. I thank Him for giving me them. What a blessing they are. :)

  10. A special sister in CHrist is a woman I have never met.
We met online and she has been an encourager and prayer warrior for me.
She is a genuine sister in Christ and someday we WILL meet in heaven.
