Do You Still Tremble?

Wow!  Do you sense the power in this verse?  This is the God who spoke the universe and beyond into existence, and it ALL belongs to Him.  This is the God who says that He will bless those who tremble at His word.  Whoa… Put on the brakes and back up. Tremble…really?!  This is where I stopped in my tracks and began to ask myself about my response to the God-breathed word.

Actually, I think God stomped on the brake pedal 

and said PAY ATTENTION TO THIS!

These are the questions I began to ask myself.

  You just may want to ask them too!

►Where is your sense of awe that the Creator of the universe still chooses to speak to you?

►When you open your Bible, do you read with a holy expectation, really believing that He speaks to you through these written words?

►Do you tremble with reverence, believing that the same Jesus who raised the dead, healed the sick, walked across water, died and rose from the dead, is the same Jesus who is speaking to you through His holy and powerful word?

►Do you realize the life-altering, life-giving effect these words can have upon your life? 

By asking these questions, 
I’ve begun to approach His word with a 
renewed passion, reverence, and anticipation. 

The next time you open your Bible to read the Holy Spirit- inspired word, do so with a sense of 

awe, reverence, and holy expectation.  God has something important and life-changing to say to you.  

It’s time to tremble...
